Based on visitors to my web site, the following chart shows that IE is still the preferred browser and IE8 has moved ahead Firefox. This is based on an average of 2,719 unique visitors and 827,707 hits per month (please note that data for March is not available due to change in web hosts).

Airline pilot ‘failed breath test’

I see this as an opportunity for Boeing! I’m sure you’ve all heard about the breathalyzer devices that can be installed in automobiles that the driver blows into which disables the ignition if the blood/alcohol level exceeds a certain limit. Well, I think Boeing should develop the same technology that the pilot and co-pilot blows into that would disable engine start if the blood/alcohol limit is exceeded. Just remember when you see this device being marketed, you heard it here first. I’m sure the royalties will be pouring in….!

Microsoft has released its own tests that show IE8 can load many websites faster than two open source browsers: Firefox and Chrome. Now if they would just give us a release date!
